The Choir of Joy's music is both religious and secular. The religious music most often focuses on the Marian songs, in Arabic, venerating the Madonna. The Virgin Mary is venerated in the Christian traditions, and also in the Muslim faith where she is honored at the Mother of the Prophet Jesus, known as Issa in Islam.
